Ashalayam, the beginning

In the past 25 years Ashalayam timely presence and accompaniment has helped thousands of chidren for restoration and rehabilitation. Now, besides over 5000 children are assisted in the various slum/street schools, railways stations and other contact points whereas the 25 foster-care homes offer education and residential faciliaties to 550 children.

But did you know that DBA start only with less than 15 boys ? It is thanks to the support and hard work of many people (staff, sponsors and friends ) that DBA has grown up so well... but there are still many things to do !

Next week, we'll continue this flashback with our French friends. Indeed, they are a part of our history. Association de soutien à Ashalayam -A.S.A France has accompanied us for more than 20 years !
