US dream comes true for two Ashalayam boys !

Pratap Kundu and Ashok Pal, two previous boys from Ashalayam, who were studying at university and working part time for the social carpentry company Terra Indica after their class XII, has been selected to study one year in the United States. This was made possible thanks to an exchange program of the American Center of Kolkata.

Pratap will study Business Management in Seattle and Ashok, IT in Miami. Ashok is also a national-level junior rugby player. It’s a wonderful opportunity and a long way already for these two promising boys, from Howrah station, where they were found as children, until now.

Ashok is already in Miami for one month and Pratap has just said good-bye to his friends in Terra Indica.
